Getting ready..

For the holidays!! Yes, hard to believe it here, today was simply GORGEOUS!! Indian Summer at it's best- 80 degrees and tons of sunshine. I've got a few things to get you in the Holiday mood though...

This is a little something I made but I promise never to scan again since it makes it look overdriven (old TV techie term!) I made the reindeer with the Stampin Up! small oval-both his face and his ears. The antlers are from the SU Sizzlets Swirl, and I trimmed off some of the curls and used them for his forehead. The DP is from SU Holiday line- Just a fun little card!

I really like how this turned out- it's the long Swirl Sizzix the I positioned to get the 3 curls and trimmed away the paper to follow the curve. You can't tell, but the ornaments are 3-d'd off the card. This ornament set is so useful, not too big so you can use them for gift tags, but lots of Umph! Plus, they match the paper from this same paper kit. If the shopping urge strikes, you can go directly to my Demonstrator website from here to see all these goodies and more! I'll be back in a week, going on a CRUISE!!!

Another lag but I have a very good excuse--My Father has been in the hospital for a week and I am taking him on his round of dr visits--He seems ok, but is on new medication and he has to take it slow...
But here are some samples to get in the spirit..I love giving out treat bags on holidays to my co workers and friends--it's a small thing but shows you care PLUS you get to stamp!! This is a quickie with Stampin Up greetings and their Halloween paper. The curly tag punch provides the opening--and a punched black border...

Here's my last card for a while with the Eastern Blooms set--So versatile!!! I used the flower
sizzlet for the yellow die cut...Thanks for looking!

BOO HOO RED SOX

Waaaa! the Patriots lost and the Red Sox are out of the playoffs--it's a sad day at our house! Well, the Stamping was still good (can you ever have a bad time stamping?)

Again-clean and simple but still lots of impact--remember, if you are making lots of multiples of a card, design one that doesn't involve much or any fussy cutting. (with scissors). You'll keep your sanity and have more fun, too.

Stamps: Snow Swirled SU
Paper: whisper white, brilliant blue, silver cs
ink brilliant blue
glitter, ribbon, rhinestone

Sparkle Trees...

I've been a bad, bad girl...the Summer just got away from me! But I'm back (and still bad) with tons more ideas to show you--I'm crazy about the "Snow Swirled" set and have a bunch of cards to prove it!! Change the colors, papers, you name it-lots of different looks! I also am going to try making one with just the snowflakes in that set, keep an eye out for that....I just love the clean look of this card...

Stamps: Stampin Up Snow Swirled
Paper: really red, kraft

Well, Las Vegas can have have weather that never changes but not this week! Easter Sunday was perfect and about 74 degrees F--Then a huge storm came in on Tuesday night--Wednesday it SNOWED!! Then today it was 94!! It makes a girl's head spin, trying to get dressed at 3:45 AM and not sure what the day will bring. Yep, that's right folks, I am a travel agent with Expedia and have to be at work at 4:45AM-Because in this huge country of ours, someone needs to buy a cruise at 8 AM Eastern time, and I am just the girl to assist!
I do feel very lucky--my two most favorite things are ones I have been able to make a living at--and not everyone can say that. So stamping paid the bills for 18 years with Stamp Oasis, both our store and our wholesale division, and now it's the travel industries' turn-- I really enjoy every aspect, and live vicariously thru all my clients. Today, however, was my day off and I got to STAMP!
Here are a few of my creations, I love challenges that come with working on a small canvas like a card. Plus, you can finish and feel like you accomplished something, which is what I always told my store customers....
Both use Stamping Up's EASTERN BLOOMS set--which I love--the second card was done by stamping on the brayer and rolling over white card--I was really happy with the results--kind of a wallpaper look! Thanks for stopping by! Audrey

From the beginning-- with feeling!

Welcome to my site! As a longtime stamper, becoming a Stampin' Up demonstrator seems like it was always destined to be...after all, I made stamps for their line in the 90s and LaVonne (the Other sister of Stampin Up!) used to shop in our stamp store. So, a brand new venture has begun--I hope you'll join me on the journey!

Here is my first card made as a demonstrator--As you can see I was really into green!
I used the greens in the basic pack plus the matching ink pad, Eastern Blooms, the scallop punch, the swirl sizzlet and a touch of organdy ribbon.

I will be having demos on YouTube listed here, as well as new samples all the time..
come back soon!
